There is people on here that will give you better advice, but what have learned from them as well as from personal experience with my GB campaign is not to rely completely on trade until you can defend it completely. I understand war should cause unrest at home, I must not be setting something up right because in a game called, "Total War", I should be able to have a war with someone.īTW Sweden campaign is enjoyable, (Those pesky Russinas can drive you crazy, and don't start me up on Austria, once Prussia is sorted, they are on my list just for the heck of it). So you go, of course bang, your trade routes get hit and before I can clear them, everything unravels, troops degenerate, riots, strikes rebels basic chaos. Where I have my problem is in the build up of the armies, it costs a bundle, just at the balance point of being bankrupt.
